I heard this the other day, and I think it sounds rediculous. Who says that?

I have heard of this all my life-it is a very common slang word for barkeeper.

In The Netherlands, the English word "barkeeper" is the common word for the person who serves the drinks at the bar.

I've heard it before (as I used to be a bartender) usually from guys being silly. I actually like it.

I hear it a lot in old westerns. It seems to be used by the unruly troublemakers.

Just FYI, it looks ridiculous the way you spell "rediculous".
