We have been together for 2 years, and have lived together for 6 months. She has 'owned' this dog for 4 years (a very fat Boxer/Beagle mix - 70 pounds). I have a cat that she bought for me as a Christmas present last year (not at my request). My current apartment doesn't allow dogs, so her dog has been living with her parents for 6 months. Even before she lived with me, she had to take her dog to her parents for weeks at at a time to go on trips, work, or come visit me in my neighboring city. Now her parents are moving out of thier house and into a townhouse (renting) that doesn't allow pets. To accomodate this dog, we have to move into an apartment that allows them.

I DO NOT like dogs. The smell, mess, noise, work....nothing about a dog pleases me. Make me sneeze and itch too. I know I am really going to hate living with this dog. Don't want to resent my GF over this, b/c I really love her.

Her aunt would love to take the dog (has land) GF won't part with the dog.

I recently quit smoking and gained about 30 pounds primarily around my mid section and butt. My friend told me about Relacore which is supposed to reduce abdominal fat. I have been using it for about 2 weeks now along with walking 5-7 miles a day and watching what I eat. So far I see no difference and there has been no weight loss either. Any opinions out there on Relacore??

So many times have I heard a conspiracy theorist state "Well if we have been to the moon why haven't we been back?" We have. There were a total of 7 lunar missions, 6 of which put man on the moon. The exception is Apollo 13, which most people know about. So my question is this, do those of you who believe we never landed on the moon think we faked it 6 times, or do you just ignore Apollo missions 12-17 and only focus on Apollo 11?

A friend of mine who lost a very close family member, over a week ago, was telling me she has not yet heard from her pastor. He hasn't called or offered any support what so ever. This made me really angry, granted the family member that died was not a member of my friend's church, but I can't believe the pastor hadn't called my friend who is a very active member in her church. I haven't had to deal with this yet, thank goodness, so I wasn't sure, but I would think a week would be too long for a pastor to wait to call and offer condolences. Anyone know a little about this kind of situation? Honestly, I'm stumped.

I am a 22/m white. I was an army brat and lived everywhere with all races. I really don't see race unlike 90% of the world. I have this issue I've been struggling with for a long time. Since 13 I have fit in better and felt more comfortable around black people and in urban culture (I have a fade, diamonds in my ears, wear jordans and tims, only listen to r&b and rap) than in "white" culture. I am just trying to be myself and I feel best this way, but I don't know why. I've tried to be preppy and it didn't feel right. I'm struggling with this because some ppl want me to have this image of being this all american kid and it just isn't me. I am graduating college with my bachelor's in may and am gonna be a juve delinq counselor. My mentors and colleagues don't judge me (as far as I can tell), but I can tell there's issues with how I am. I don't know if I should jus conform, look and act their way, or to jus be me. Why am I this way and what do you think?
