I have recently been called a poser when I told a "fan" that my favorite song was Sheep, by Pink Floyd.
Apparently all they wrote were Money and We Don't Need No Education.
For Christ's sake, people, the second one's not even a SONG! It's called Another Brick in the Wall (Part II), and is usually preceded by Happiest Days of our Lives. Pink Floyd was 4 guys (for a short while, 5), not one girl, and they didn't name themselves after a dog, or a bus, or a guy who liked pink. (If they named themselves after the latter, their name would be Arnold Layne, no?) They were named after Pink Anderson and Floyd Council. They have 17 albums, I believe, not 2 songs.
And I'm the poser.
Sorry, I just had to rant. What is with this "superiority" one automatically gets from being older? Just because I'm younger, that means that she's smarter? I think not.
What's behind this "they wrote 2 songs" thing? I hear Time and Learning to Fly on the radio a lot, along with Hey You and Comfortably Numb.
