20 pounds in a month. The way I did it was not healthy though.
What is your goal? When do you want to lose it by? Know that realistically, losing a pound a week is healthy, and no more than that should be lost. The best way is to lower your calorie intake by 500 a day, increase your exercise regime (go 5-6 days/week for 30-40 minute cardio workouts.) Really, you should try and eat lots of protein and fiber as they make you feel more full than carbs or fatty foods. If you are dedicated and motivated, you will lose the weight. I promise. It seems that everyone's problem who are unsuccessful with losing weight, is that they do not have the discipline.
I wish you the best of strength...not luck. Losing weight isn't luck, it's work and hard work.
P.S. I don't know if you use food as an emotional comfort (which many people do, as do I) but find something else to replace that attachment. I have found this to work. Also, drink more liquids as they keep you temporarily full and prevent those hunger cravings.

Fify pounds in about 2 1/2 months. I attribute it to stress and at the time I didn't know that I had diabetes, which makes one's weight yo-yo. I went from 195 to 145 at 5'11. Man, I was skinny for a little while until I began gaining some back. Presently I am 186 lbs.

I lost 25 pounds in 3 weeks. My husband lost 30 in 3 weeks. We went on an alkaline diet. It works, and works very, very fast. You'll keep the weight off if you continue on the diet, modified (not so strict). There's lots of websites detailing the diet, but I got Robert Young's book called The Ph Miracle and followed it. His website is www.innerlight.com. Good luck to you.

I lost thirty pounds in fourty days. I was going through a divorce and literally couldn't eat. I lost mostly muscle tissue, and ended up getting the chicken pox because my immunity was in such poor shape. I was vulnerable, and now I have permanent pain from the chicken pox because my nerves were scarred. By losing weight quickly you compromise your immunity, your health, your muscle mass that makes you so beautiful (fat replaces the muscle when you put the weight back on and makes you look even bigger). Love and treat your body with respect or it won't take care of you.

33 pounds in 6-7 weeks. I had severe migraines and couldn't eat or sleep. I was in bed for days at a time. Next thing you know, I was losing weight. It was a jumpstart and I just began eating differently and a little walking and have kept it off ever since.

95 lbs in 8 months and have kept it off for over 4 years now, that is the hard part, keeping it off once you lose. I used a plan called Shapeworks. What a wonderful plan, and I got a coach to help me with it. Here is her website: www.loseweightnow.com/tfward
