A giraffe makes a sound similar to an elephant, that's because like the elephant, its vocal cords are way down from the source of its sound. A giraffe's sound would be like... a mix between a soft chirp and a phreeewwww

It was believed that giraffes made no sound, but recently it was discovered that giraffes do make very quiet noises.

They don't make any sound, unless the male giraffes are fighting. There is a 'krik kork'when they are necking. On the whole giraffes are quiet animals

Hi Mere, If their in pain,they have avery different tone,It's like a horses voice,but maybe alittle deeper.If happy you will know the differents right off.It's safe to say,a voice like a horse.I know for sure,Their tongues are very long and very black.
