Recently its come to light that christians say that an exhibit showing fossils of human ancestors show be relabelled so it states evolution as a theory. I think this is fair enough on the condition that christians too admit the existance of god is just a theory. There is no hard evidence of god's existance just like there is no fool proof evidence that evolution is true.

Any thoughts?

The new law that comes into existance next monday says that all children under 12 must have a car seat or booster seat unless they are over 135cms 4 feet 5 inches. Surely they would have been better having a height restriction rather than age.

I had a lab this past thursday where we had to find the density and specific heat of an UNKNOWN metal. My SH and D were both CLOSE to both Zinc and Iron. My metal looked like a light gray substance and it looked like it had at one point been melted and dropped into small hershey kiss shapes. Can anyone tell me some physical characteristics that would deem it one or the other. Thanks.

First off let me say that I truly feel confused, I am married for 3 years I think I married the wrong woman. There was no Sexual chemistry to start with. I think I have married for the wrong reasons. landed a good job, bought a house, got a dog, thought it was time i was dating my g/f for 4 years she was there for some tough times I love her but am not in love with her does that make sense? we have no kids. I am starting to have wondering eyes and have had eyes look at me also I need somone who I am sexually attracted I feel verry strongly about chemistry and think I may have found that person. Please do not bash me for being married and having wondering eyes. My wife and I have not been intimate for about 5 months and this has just recently been happening to me. About 2 weeks ago i got a message after boot up saying that my cmos battery was low - this resulted in my boot-up sequence changing (instead of the text identifying all the hardrives, cd-roms etc i got a screen with the logo "msi the link to the future") and windows forgot the date and time but everything still worked. However now my computer will not run windows, it always restarts itself just before the windows logo appears (the bit with windows xp and the green or blue? colours going across it) or if it doesn't restart then it just sits there doing nothing. I have tried booting off my other hardrive but no success. I have also tried reinstalling windows but after the very 1st bit where it says "press f6 if u want to install raid and scsi drivers" it then goes blank and there is no more text on the windows install screen. I have 2 copies of xp and both discs to exactly the same. So i was thinking that this problem was due to my cmos battery running out? any help would be appreciated

My mother likes to give me information on how to have a healthy baby since I am 2 months pregnant. Today she saw on tv that pregnant women shouldn't eat food in plastic containers that are heated up in microwaves. They can actually cause your baby to be born with two sexes?? It started a couple of years ago, as the nail on my left thumb grows out, it splits at about the point where it separates from the thumb. I can trim the nail down to below the split, but it always comes back as the nail grows out. The split is always in the same place. I can see a small 'ridge' on the thumb below where it splits which seems to be a 'weak point' on the nail.

There is no pain, unless I snag it and it splits too much.

This is not a calcium problem. I love cheese and regularly eat yogert and milk.

On a final note, I heard a news report lately that split or discolored nails can indicated serious medical problems (such as kidney issues). However, since it is only one nail, and is so consistent, this seem unlikely.
