We CAN & do know there are thousands of other pets being euthanized due to lack of homes. You mean pets getting spayed? My dog had to undergo that procedure coz we got him from the SPCA and it's a stipulation for him get to spayed if we wanted to adopt him.

He lost so much zest for life and gained so much weight after he got spayed. Even though my heart aches to see him change so much, we couldn't do anything to stop the procedure. But I'd rather have him spayed and let him enjoy the love showered upon him by his owners than to leave him in the dog pound.
