Have the greatest repsect for lighting and defintely afraid of it.
I was playing golf and thunder clouds were off in the distance but it was cloudy where I was playing. I was standing on the tee box with a metal driver in my hand when I could feel an electrical charge throughout my body and heard kind of a sizzling sound. That was it. Put the clubs away for that day and when there is any lightning even in the distance I'm off the course.
As a note I was playing golf one day and took shelter from a storm. Some idiots took shelter under an oak tree and three of them were fried when lightning hit the tree.

I love lighting I think it is beautiful. I don't mind the thunder either the only time I don't like it is when it bangs really loud out of no where. You know the kind that sounds like a big transport truck just ran into a building.

I'm scared of storms. I love to hear it rain as long as there is no thunder or lightning.

I don't mind lightning and thunder, as long as I'm inside my house... The sound of thunder relaxes me....

i love thunder and lightning at its worst. its so powerful and it gives me goose bumps. I'm intrigued by it....wow i would love to be in a place where this happened most of the time....
