what is it with the, "I am a mature, educated Christian and here's what the scripture says" followed by a two-foot copy and paste of a passage.

Not trying to be cheeky, but I do know the scripture.

And I hate it when people talk condesending to me, like they automatically assume they know more than me. I'm just asking for your opinion.

Anyone have that happen to them?

I am taking AP CHEMistry, AP PHYSICS B, and Honors Anatomy for my senior. as a junior I took Honors Physics and AP Biology. My question is does it look obvious to colleges that I want to pursue a career in science like medecine especially when I have AP Calculus Ab this year?

ok..i posted this question a few minutes ago:
My mother in law buried her dog in a baby coffin in the burial plot beside her husband...is this weird?
i thought it was an amazing waste of money.
would you do something like this?

i didn't add that it is the family's cemetery.....and it is almost out of plots.
it goes back 6 generations.

the dog is burried closer to him than his brothers & sisters & parents & children

so...is it weird now???

I keep hearing (and I know it isn't true) that Muslims worship this so called "Moon God". Now.....you and I both know that this isn't true but for those of you who will continue to claim that there is truth is this absurd statement....Answer me this:

Were you aware that the reason most Christians worship on Sunday *which is not the true day of rest* is because before Constantine became a Christian, he worshipped the "Sun God"? Were you aware that the day that we attend church and worship was formed from a pagen ritual?

How would you feel if people started claiming that Christians worshipped the Sun God?

Come on people, knock it off with the bullcrap.

I haven't seen my grandson for 2 mos. My son won't discuss the situatiion with family, says it's his business. I am very worried about this baby. His mother wasn't very could at caring for him when they lived here.Although I kept my opinions to myself so not to cause problems, I did see a lot of neglect.( Dirt diapers, missed feedings, days without bathing child & wearing same clothes for days, baby ignored alot, baby rarily allowed out of bedroom.) Most of the time the rest of the household would just step in and give him the care he needed or he just wouldn't get it.
Now that she is gone and we haven't seen or heard anything, GOD only knows what kind of condition he is in. Please give me some kind of advice about what I can do. I am truely deeply worried about his welfare. I live in NJ and I don't know what kind of rights I might have as a grandmother. I really am so worried that something might happen to that child, if it hasn't already.

i am westerner and i have worked in saudi and travelled and lived in many muslim countries ok. although never been a religious person i always respected all religions and people before i encountered muslims and islam while in those countries. the way muslims treat people of other faiths is so bad and ugly that i have now lost respect for muslims.
now you non muslims who come here on yahoo and support islam , havent you people got any dignity and respect for yourselves?

i grew up with the idea that if i want respect from others i should respect them in turn. i cant say that about muslims anymore

i have a scar in my forehead 2 inch lengh in left side its caused in the year 2000, i used contracttubex cream to reduce it but dont have better result like to know is it possible to change such scar by cosmetic surgery to 90% i dont want to have any scar in my face if some one know about that pls inform me in which country the plastic surgery is done , using latest technolgy at reasonable price ? will be happy if i found some solution for my scar reduction.
