I act as an agent in helping put together a deal between two companies. The two companies sign a contract where one buys a product from the other. I AM NOT A SIGNATORY TO THIS CONTRACT. My role is purely to bring the two companies together where I know one of them needs what the other is offering. If either of them default on their obligation to the contract -i.e, one accepts the product and does not pay OR one pays but does not receive the promised product - am I in any way liable to the affected company??

I have acted in good faith and do not have any knowledge or inclination that one of the companies was going to default on their contractual obligation.

While I havent signed any contract per say - there is enough email correspondence to establish that I was a part of the negotiation process between the two companies in my role and capacity as an agent.

Please let me know what my legal / financial liability will be in such a circumstance.

Pardon the ambiguity...couldn't think of a better term to differentiate between the two...

Do moderate Christians worry about being attacked if they don't agree with the more zealous Xtians? I'm looking for a plausible explanation for why the perception of being a "Christian" has undergone such a radical shift in a relatively short amount of time. When did hardcore Christianity become the norm (at least it seems that way to me on Y!A anyway...)?

My wife said to me in bed one night that she wanted her tubes tied after a 23 year marriage in which she kept telling me that she was getting closer to having children. We had a agreemnet from the start of our marriage that she would give me a family, this came as a devastating blow to me , I didn't know what to say but less than a year later I left the marriage. The last thing she said to me was that she was going to make me suffer, I will admit she's doing a pretty good job of it so far. I just want children so bad that I needed to leave her and find the right person to start a family. Am I to old to expect it might happen for me?

At first for the children the agreement was i would pay the mortgage instead of child support, but now child support has been issued and she wont pay me rent or leave.Which shes been living there for free for 2years now, along with her parents and other two kids. But if i dont pay the mortgage(which is only in my name) it will foreclose. So how do i get her to sign a rental agreement or how do i get her out??
