ULTIMATELY ONE DAY YOU WILL HAVE TO LEAVE YOUR FAMILY EITHER YOU GO WITH YOUR LOVER OR WITH SOMEONE FIXED BY YOUR FAMILY. BETTER YOU GO WITH WHOM YOU LOVE.

I don't know what people you are talking about, dear. You must be living in a country where that is still a big issue. Not here..You say you can't marry him, but YOU REALLY CAN. Just go away and get married. Once it's done. It's done. I would suggest that you think about what you really want. You will have to determine if this guy is really worth it. Try not to make a mistake. Other than that, if you love each other, fight for your love. Money and status should not matter. Your parents would probably be angry at you for a while, but they'll get over it. Soon, they'll be talking to you. Good luck.

Who says you can't marry him. It seems that your family influence your decision more than you care to admit.

You say you love this person and if you do and your family loves you then that's all that should matter. I hope you are old enough to even be considering marriage because it sounds like you are not if you are thinking about rich and poor trumps love.

People r selfish and look for their happiness rather wt the person in love has to feel.. It can also be told as they r jealous that u have a true love wit u.. Jus let it go and marry him.. its him at the end of your life and not the people lookin for status

Okay, I know this is going to sound really bitchy, but your family just has your best interests in mind. Sure, you love each other now, but you come from two totally different backgrounds. What happens when you get older and he can't provide you with the lifestyle you're accustomed to? You say it doesn't matter, but eventually it will. And what happens when you have children and you think they should be raised one way and he thinks they should be raised another? You're going to run into serious problems because you were probably brought up differently. I'm not saying you two shouldn't try to make it work, I'm just saying I know first-hand where your family is coming from and they really do just have your best interests in mind.
