Do you just put the plate in your lap in front of the TV or do you make the table as a good girl/boy and sit properly at the table with knife, fork, spoon, glass with drinks etc.?

Who still eats at the table unless it's Christmas or Thanksgiving? hehe. Okay well maybe not literally. A meal around the table is good sometimes. But every night? Gimme a break. Even if people want it to happen, it's just harder to bother with all that these days.

Yes both if I am sitting at the table or eating in front of the TV. In the latter case I use a carved wooden tray with a large place mat on the tray in place of a tablecloth. I don't eat alone that often but, when I do, this normality makes me feel better about it. I feel it's worth the small extra effort.

lol..what a question.
Anyway, if I'm by myself and I have dinner prepared I'll eat at the
coffee table (in front of the TV of course) and I always like to lay
down some paper that I have for that purpose on the table before
setting down the food, and also another piece of paper on the floor
under me to catch anything that might tend to fall to the floor to prevent staining the carpet.
Then, cleanup is easy...dishes to the sink, paper right into the trash.

When I moved house 7 yrs ago I made some rules and one of them was if we had any thing to eat or drink we had to sit at the table the only exception is when we have guests and believe it or not we have stuck to it

When alone I do not eat meals. I will snack sometimes but generally I associate eating with socialization. I eat with my family or not at all. So I guess everytime I do eat it is set up properly. We always eat at the table =)

More often than not, I stand and eat in the kitchen. If i do sit at the table I dont lay it up first, just chuck it on wen i sit down.
