I have a 4 yr old horse who tends to be very quiet on the ground but always looking around,whinnying, spooky and not paying attention under saddle. How best to deal with this?

I have a relative that became a born again christian a few years ago. Before this she used to do things for and with her family, now she says she doesn't want to spend her time with those that do not want to be saved. She opens her home to convicts that have "found Jesus" (and who then rip her off) but she does not give the kids in the family christmas presents. (She says that they are "blessed enough") She doesn't associate even with her own parents anymore, because her new husband can't stand them and "a wife is supposed to follow her husband." Is that really how you people want everyone to behave? I think I prefer hell.... Not really, I guess, I don't know what I believe, but this bothers me.

I know it's basically Christian, but the celebration is about the birth of Jesus and not his divinity, like in case of Easter or Pentecost.

Christmas already has a lot of variations, so why not have another?

I asked a question in the relationship area and got an answer that made me need to ask this one.


Situation is this... Husband had an affair and moved out but says he still loves me but is not ready to move back in and be a family. But will soon cause he wants to make sure he doesnt make same mistake again.We have a child. I still love him think hes worth loving in spite of all that has happened. is that right or wrong? It goes through my head sometimes and I regret that while I was performing live rock music that I didn't have a really good 3 part harmony to do it properly. I would have loved to have started off my shows with it or even saved it for when people got good and messed up later on in the night. It could have gone anywhere really. Well, I can't complain too much because we pulled off a lot of stuff that lesser bands couldn't have even attempted...like Whole Lotta Love with all the bells and whistles...I sure do wish we'd have played more Cream though!

Hi, I am considering visitng a friend in the U.K, around Manchester or so. Rather than flying all the way, I thought a one way cruise or boat trip would be nice. I am not looking for a 7 day RoundTrip cruise, unless I can get off where I need to and finish the return home when readywetehr it is weeks or more down the road.
Problem is, I have been unable to find any sights, companies, prices, etc to attmept planning such an endeavor.
For a RT flight, with a stopover in Boston, was around $550. I still think a boat would be a much nicer, while much longer trip. Cost is a factor as well as the type of ship. I don't want to sail over on a cargo ship :)
Never been on a cruise, never been to the U.K. This is a huge adventure I am looking forward to.
Any and all suggestions on this topic are quite welcome, and appreciated. TY
