Because life is too short ,I want to live hopefully,so I want to set a target in my life,and you?

This is a very difficult question to answer but I hope the following makes sense
I have had a life fool of rich experiences, mostly good but some that hurt in my heart
Life is a journey, not a destination and although you only get one life you can have many many journeys
Setting targets is a good way to get many journeys but so is responding to chance opportunities by seeing them wisely and making the most of them
Not allowing yourself to be stuck, in a job or a relationship you don't want to be is good too
It's about balance and about understanding the cost of your targets and choices and about taking some chance
One of my early targets was to travel the world, learn to be an engineer and to find true love abroad
I did not forsee that in travelling abroad all my friends would grow without me, and that I would have to leave my true love one day
Another target back home was to be the senior manager of a very large business which I achieved but I did not realise that I had become the property of my employer and I was trapped because I had big house and porsche to pay for so I lost my freedom
I am now on a happy journey learning how to help people
But lifes journey is not as short as you think and time is something you can slow down by having a hopeful outlook in life
I know an old lady of 82 who has just finished a university degree and who now lectures, and she winks at me often, in a wicked way
Keep your spirit true and strong and you will live forever

Well, some of us are too old to start over and that should be your #1 lesson. If you don't do something that you REALLY wanted to do, you may regret it the rest of your life. I could tell you a few things in my life that if I had the chance, I would do completely different but what for?Nothing is going to change. Just be sure that the decisions you make are made because you want them not because someone else wants them. There is a saying that a lot of us old school generation used to hear growing up and that is - if I only knew then, what I know now. Be true to yourself and love yourself before you love anyone else. =)

There are a lot of targets in everyboy lifes. people may wish to have a happy family, a stable career, stay in a luxury house and have enough money for their retirement. For me, the immediate target I hope to achieve is that to have a career with better prospect. Of course, I will start searching for it coz if I don't work for it, this target will never be achievable. So you should start working on your target and work on it too

My target in life is to provide for my family a comfortable life, i.e. a roof over their heads, food on the table always and able to buy necessities comfortably. So in a way that will dictate my career in life, because, whatever allows me to provide for them, I will make it a career.
This is because providing for them is the bigger target in life, once that is achieved, the happiness obtained will nullify all the unhappiness that work may bring.

of all the people why do i tell you my target in life & if you want to set a target in your life,you should judge your circumstances,what you want from your life & then set your target for your life as in what you want to derive from your life & not copy someone else's target.

I'm a current college student still trying to make up my mind on what's my target. Every chance I get I change Majors. I now want to create commercials for your T. V. How's that for a change?

having a target in your life is good but it is not healthy if the things don't go well and you still stick to your ways.
if things don't go well, it is a sign to change for the better.
the above is true most of the times if not some of the times.
