I am on an O2 mobile phone contract.

As my 12 month contract has now expired I phoned to cancel (I am an extremely light user and only took the contract for the phone)

They instead offered an new 12 month contract with only 25 minutes/25 texts per month (more than ample for my needs) for £8.00 per month with a £100 credit. As 12 * 8 is only £96.00 the contract is effectively free.

What am I missing?

Its difficult for me to donate blood plasma because the veins in my arm are hard to see. I passed their tests and did end up with $100 over two weeks. Only the most experienced ones could find a vein and some of them treated me as if it was my fault somehow. I drank lots of liquids before I came (no caffeine). Are there any tips or tricks for making my veins more visible? Or other ways to make a little extra money?
