This is as yet unconfirmed. Ferrari are supposed to be announcing their driver line up for next season, after this weekend's Italian Grand Prix, and this should give a clue (if not the answer) about Michael's decision.

He is widely expected to retire if he wins the championship this year since he will be able to "go out on a high". Things are looking good for him, since Alonso's qualifying was poor for this race and Shumacher is starting in second spot. Of course anything could happen in the race so you'll need to wait and see....

It's unconfirmed, but I've heard Schumi will reitre, kimi will join Ferrari and Alonso will take Kimi's position in Mc Laren next year...we have to wait till Sunday.

Its very possible but is still unconfirmed. Bookies say he will go on for one more season before he retires.
