Dieting should not have affect your skin if you're eating a healthy diet! If anything, it should make your skin better. Cut down on portions, eat from a smaller plate (it makes you think you have full portions), walk, be active, get up and move. Find out what a good, healthy caloric intake is for someone your age and stick to it. You don't have to go on a "diet." You just need to be aware of what's going into your mouth.

The key is balance and moderation. This is why the weight watcher's diet is so successful if people stay on it. It's good to be active, and it's also OK to eat ice cream. Not a whole quart, but a few scoops. You need to have a balanced diets with some fats (meat, dairy, fish, etc) sugars, carbs (breads, cereals, rice), veggies and fruits, and water.
The key is balance and moderation. This is the way to diet, lose weight, and be healthy.

What ever you do, don't go on a diet. Dieting works for only some people. For others, it will effect their skin very badly. Even if you reduce your weight by dieting, you are not reducing the count of fat cells, but only the fat, this will effect your weight very badly after you stop the diet. If you do exercise, you will loose the count of fat cells as well as you will burn the excess fat. I would recommend you to do aerobics. They will help you loose weight in a month.

Get into a habit of leading a more active lifestyle - walk wherever you can and don't use the lift. Eat healthy - plenty of fruits and fresh veg and unsweetened fruit juices and oats. Drink about 2litres of water a day to flush out your toxins and use masks every week to take care of your skin.

Along with using the right food and in moderate quantities, learn to drink lots of water spread over the entire day. One, it will help curb the hunger pangs and, two, it will help your skin keep hydrated and healthy. Drink at least three litres of water.
