One said we were born when life was simple...ha. Do ya'll remember the drills we had with a threat of a bomb attack. What about those of us that went through the busing of students, Richard Nixon and Vietnam.... other examples of how our generation was shocked into an awareness that life was fragile. I believe that we are all concerned with the war in Iraq and the threat of terrorism, that just reaffirms our feelings again that life as we knew it in the 60's will never exsist again so we should take each day as a gift. Now we are older and more mature, we are mature enough to just chill now. One thing we learned how to PARTY!!! :-)

Because they lived in a time where they had to use their imagination in order to have fun.. because they allowed themselves to have fun, and because when they were children.. there were no worries.. they didn't worry about getting shot or stabbed walking down the street.

They didn't have computers or that much TV.. so they made their fun, and it's a fact that when you have to be creative.. you are. My kids have much more fun running around a hay field than they do watching tv on the couch... They have much more fun at a petting zoo than at a concrete park in the city..

Baby Boomers know how to have fun because they spent their childhood having the best kind of fun. Free and uninhibited.

Things were so much simpler in their era. Now everything is terrorists, kids shooting their parents or schools. Plus everything is automated now. We have so much technology that you don't ever have to leave the house for anything anymore. Which is making for lazy Americans. THings are so complicated now a days. THey were born when life was simple.
