i live with my parents in a flat on the first floor. i like the guy that lives in the next entrance of our house. he's never seen me and doesn't know. whole my family knows his family, but nobody knows his name, and my family doesn't talk much to his parents. i've noticed him because he keeps leaving his car in front of my window. should i do anything? in russia it's not often when girls come up first. what do you think should be done not only by me, but also maybe by somebody else. well, give an advice. And what should i do or say so that he likes me? P.S. he's 20, i'm 18.the point is that it's russia, it's not usual here for girls to make the first move. and also, how should a girl behave in the conversation with a man? P.P.S. i'm perhaps too shy to make the fist move, and bumpin inot him won't really work, coz there's too much space around. I know i put this q-n too often, but i just need dif answers.

FROM YESTERDAY:Ok so at the end of July my best friend from another state and I got a place together. Previous to that I lived w/ my boyfriend. She doesn't know many people out here and is afraid to be at home alone. My b/f wants me to spend nights w/ him sometimes, so I made arrangements to pay my cousin to stay w/ her at our apt. and take him home the next day. The guy that she's talking to never sleeps over but will stay as late as 2am...which to me is a waste of my time and money. So now, I'm low on cash, her date is busy tonite, and my b/f wants time w/ me tonite!!! What should I do b/c now my man is pissed and feels she's interferring w/ our relationship......

I'm beggining to think that the age of electronic communication is simply enabling more and more division amongst common folk in our society. It seems like all of this increased ability to communicate would increase our understanding of each other, but it doesn't seem to work that way. Instead we anonymously hide behind avatars and throw barbs at people who think differently than us.

Western democracy is still driven by the populace, and the populace is more split than I can ever remember. I can't help that the internet is only helping to enlarge this gulf and not to reduce it. Will this only continue to get worse as we become more and more competent with computers, as electornic commmunication allows us to become more specialised and insular?

In the next town over, there is a nice restaurant which I frequent.
One of the waitresses mentioned something to me one day about nasty customers. I do not understand this, especially since she is just about the most wonderful person I have ever met.
She flies all over that place, doing the work of two people.
She is always smiling , very upbeat, always helpful and has a kind word for everybody. In addition, she is very beautiful--tall, slender, peaches and cream skin.
I would think that people would fall all over her, trying to be her friend, but some people can be very nasty to her.
Two more things---You have probably noticed that I am quite taken with her, but please give me credit for realizing that I am old enough to be her grandfather. And I am planning to see that she gets (ANONYMOUSLY) any positive feedback which I hope shows up here.

And besides, no one even knew about bin Laden in 1999. Maybe, like, three people. It's possible that he didn't even exist until Bush made him mad about the stolen election.

Remember, 9/11 happened when Bush was president. That was eight months into his presidency, and by then he'd already had his cabinet assembled for something like two months. But that's only because the election was stolen and Gore made a valient effort to stop him.
