Bread crusts are dry. When you eat dry things, your body becomes drier. All dry things crumple up e.g. dry leaves, or become curly. Since your hair is not very vital to your survival, it is the first thing to go dry, and therefore curly.

Hahahhahaha, did you grandfather tell you that??
Children have long been told that the way to a curly crop of hair is to eat their crusts of the bread rather than sawing them off and placing them aside. This is just something parents say so their children eat the crusts. My grandfather, who was bald, actually told me lost his hair because he didn't eat his crusts... but that's when I was about 5 years old.
Grow up; eat your crusts but don't sit in the mirror waiting for your hair to get curly.
Hahhaha, i needed a good laugh today.

The old spouse tale i be attentive to is : in case you consume your bread crusts your hair would be curly. at the same time as there is little actuality to the asserting that ingesting your crusts will make your hair curly, there's a lot of evidence that announces the final undertaking you're able to do is decrease the crusts off your bread. Bread contains an antioxidant referred to as pronyl-lysine, a nutrient which permits the physique combat cancer agents. study achieved by making use of German scientists discovered that there is as much as 8 cases as lots pronyl-lysine in the crust of the bread whilst in comparison with the fewer-baked centre. i admire the word: in case you employ an identical pen whilst taking a try which you used to examine the try, then the pen will bear in techniques the solutions or you could desire : female’s instinct isn't any old spouse's tale

By sending special electric impulses to the roots of your hair. What? You didn't know bread could generate electricity - think again! If you soak the bread in water and then spread it all around your scalp, you 'll get a perm that will last at least 2 days. I don't recommend going to an outdoor party though, as you would attract too many pigeons.

My mom used to tell me it made your hair curly trying to get me to eat the crusts. I decided I didn't want curly hair so I cut the crusts off.

It doesn't. How curly or not-curly one's hair is is determined by genetics, and I'm fairly certain bread crusts can't change a person's genetic structure.

It doesn't. When I was a child I was forced to eat all my crusts at gun point. My hair is very straight.

It's a 'mom' thing. If your mom wants you to eat bread crusts, it will do whatever she says it will. Isn't it wonderful that moms have that power?
