Notice that Bill Clinton was an unknown when he won the presidency. Notice that Jimmy Carter was an unknown when he won the presidency. I wonder why democrats that people are familiar with never win. Could it be because people know them enough to not want them as president? We all know that John Edwards was a crooked lawyer before he got into politics.

Only if he can distance himself from the Democratic party's socialist platform. If he embraces their left-of-communist agenda his only hope is a strong third party candidate like Perot who helped Clinton get elected by taking the independent vote and splitting the moderate vote.
Right now the Democrats have to realize their agenda is not working and won't work in 2008. They have to move back to the center and away from the extreme left, if they don't the moderates will vote GOP again.

The psychic John Edwards?
LOL... I wonder if he already knows he is going to win or lose?
(Im kidding, I know its not THAT John Edwards... but even still, I'd rather vote for him over the politician.) At least we would finally have someone in office who knows what's going on...

I don't think the mid-terms don't carry any weight for the Presidential election. It might be a barometer, but not a predictor. The only question is: Who is the right man for the job on election day.

We haven't really heard anything from or about him lately. If he is considering a run in '08, he needs to get out there and start blasting away at the Republicans.

Democrats need to come up with someone new that will work for legal Americans if they want to win.

Is he running?
I'm pretty sure the Dem's first pick will be either Hillary or the governor of Virginia.

That is a viable scenario, IMO. But it is much too early to call.
