I really try hard to remember what Molly Ivins says about President Bush. "I know him. He's a great neighbor, but a lousy President."

That may sound like an insult to some of you, but I disagree. I think Ivins is demanding that we retain the President's decency and humanity even if we think he's a "lousy President."

You may scoff, but if you read the opinions on this site, you see that people aren't nearly as humane as Ivins. People are called idiots, nazis, libtards, and generally spit on because they stand on the other side of an ideological divide.
The fact that that "other person" might be a great father, a devoted volunteer, a selfless coach or foster parent never occurs to most of us. But it should.
And strangely, that's the biggest reason I get angry at this President. Five years ago on 9/11, this entire country united. You may not even remember it now, but you will if you stop and think about it. Do you want an example of how non-partisan things were after 9/11 (cont)

I lost my job 5 years ago due to receiving 4 DUI's in a year. I'm not really sorry I did it - I'd do it again if I still had a car and could afford anything.

The condo we live in is gated and our phone line has to be hooked up with the intercom so we'll be able to buzz people in. However, the phone we bought is "digital" (I dunno if that's the right word)[Uniden PowerMax], meaning we don't have to plug the phone to the phone jack in order for it to work. We just connected it to the modem/router that we have for the internet and to the power socket. The management told us that we HAVE to plug the phone in the phone jack to make the intercom work. Is that true? So now, we run down stairs to get people in the condo which is SOOOO incovenient. Is there any way we can have the intercom work without buying another phone unit?

When I go to bed I can't hardly sleep sometimes when there is a full moon. My nose itches and the bed occasionally will vibrate. It feels like electricity is shooting through my neck and it makes a funny little noise. It feels kinda like this: "zzzz....zzz....z..zzz". I told my wife about it and she said "i don't know what is happening to you... but you smell of rotten eggs in the morning." When I wake up I start sneezing.

Flirt??

Okay here's the sitatiuon:
My Best friend likes this guy, and he's in one of my classes, and sometimes I talk to him... Like today I went up to him, and just started talking to me and going for a walk with him....

Then I got back to my friends, and they were like, "You're such a flirt"!
I told them I didn't think I was, but I do talk to guys and hang out with them alot, and just talk (deep convos, ya know?)
That's just something I do, but does that make me a flirt???
I can talk to any guy, usually even one I like, but the guy that I really wanna talk to, I can't, so I can't be that much of a flirt right??
