I came to the dock, it was dusk. Time is nothing. I sit and stare out into the lake in all its vastness and wonder about things to come. As I gaze into the water the things that I am thinking about appear in the water. Some things are terribly hidious, while others are mear shadows dancing like willow trees in the open field. Then, my eye catches something else in the water. Her. She says something but I do not hear. Then she turns and walks away. The thing I didnt hear was important. I get up and continue to follow her untill I see her going up the ledge, when she reachs the top. She stops. I gaze into her eyes and realize what she has said. Before I finish the dream she falls into the darkness of the lake silently.

I don't understand how to do this...

Find the domain and range of each relation, and state whether or not the relation is a function.

f(x)= x^2
f(x)= -x^2
f(x)= -x
f(x)= x^3


Heres another...

Determine which real numbers must be excluded from the domain of each function.

f(x)= x/x
g(x)= 3x/ -3x +9
f(x)= -x/ x^2 - 49
g(x)= 1/ the square root of 2x

this is really confusing.

Whnever I am reading something I either don't remeber what I read or don't understand. I'm a straight A student, but I feel like I'm not as smart as the other students. I have a really bad long term memory, so I can't remember anything from my previous years of school. How can I comprehend what I read quickly and remember what I read so I can catch up to the other people in my class? I also do a lot of daydreaming, which probably contributes to my "learning disability" as I am calling it. What should i do?
