It deppends on what you eat. Chocolate, soda, and anything else sweet will give you bad dreams. Milk, water, and bread will give you good dreams. Take it from me!

You shouldn't eat 3 hours before bed time anyway. It is bad to go to bed with a tummy full of food.
But yes I do believe it can trigger to have weird dreams... I try not to eat too close to bed time but when i have I have the strangest dreams - sometimes they are so scary!

Absolutely! It has happened to me! I've had glorious dreams or nightmares. Nightmares were triggered, I'm sure, by the sauerkraut I had as a bedtime snack. The glorious dreams? . . . wish I knew. I could bottle the stuff and make a fortune!

Eating may boost your metabolism - digesting the food, as you sleep. As a result you may be in REM (Dream) sleep rather than a deep restful sleep - you may dream more. But you may also wake in the morning feeling like you didn't get a full night's sleep.

Eating before bed triggers indigestion, and it gets worse as you get older, so you might not want to make it a habit.

I have heard that almost anything you do before bed can cause dreams. But it depends on how much you have it on your mind.

im not sure on this but i do know that eating before bed will make the pounds add on. you have no way to burn it off while you are sleeping. its not good for you at all. unless you eat something really light i suppose you'd be ok.

It actually sounds quite plausible to me. It could alter the chemicals in your body and send different signals to your brain or something.
They should do some kind of study on it.
