If you get your materials online or at a discount craft store and buy in bulk you can save money. I like toalso do some work from a computer program on scrapbooking by Photoshop if you have that, Hallmark also has one if you don't and then you can make all your own borders, etc. on your home computer and save a ton. It will cost at least $30.00-100.00 to make a book that size. Just depends on how much you use from what you've saved and how much you buy. I personally love to draw in things and use those scissors with the crazy borders to trim the opictures. I once did an album of a family vacation we took with my extended family and gave it to my parents as a gift, it cost only $10.00 cuz I did it all on my home printer. Look for scrapbook software, it really saves you money. Have fun and good luck!

I love to scrapbook, and cost's vary. If you go to the Dollar store you can pick up a 12x12 top loading post bound album which includes 10 pages for 7.00. Paper packs there cost 3.00 (Walmart also has some nice paper packs starting at around 5.00) You probably have tons of stuff around your home to embellish the pages and basic tools such as scissors, glue or adhesive, markers, chalk, brads, ribbons, fabric, glitter. My average page if I use store bought embellishments such as Jolee's starts about 3.00, but when I first started out. I just used basic paper and stickers and my whole books probably cost less then 15.00 for 10 pages

I made a extensive "first 300 and sixty 5 days" scrapbook album for the two certainly one of my childrens. and then after that I did a chronological *relatives* album for each 300 and sixty 5 days and proceed to accomplish that. I did my 2010 album digital, yet each and all the previous ones are hand pieced mutually. i do no longer possibly have the time to do the home made ones as plenty, that's form of why I switched to digital - it is less difficult for me to do whilst the youngsters are enjoying. If I deliver out all my papers and elaborations it makes a extensive mess and the youngsters get into each and every thing, lol. I do choose the handcrafted ones, nonetheless, it is in simple terms complicated to do with 2 infants. I nonetheless have all my stuff, I do exactly no longer drag it out close to as plenty.

If you're just highlighting your pictures - just adding some paper accents and a few embelishments (snaps, brads, ribbons, etc.) you can spend anywhere from $1.00 to $5.00 per page. I get a lot of my stuff from the Dollar Giant. Other Dollar stores are great too. Micheals has some great stuff - lots of choices. Or if you want to order stuff - Creative Memories or Stampin' Up is really good stuff and great quality.
