It's your personal preference, but you might check with your insurance company. (I'm serious) Some colors such as red are considered higher risks for accidents. Try to stay with a "factory" color. Custom colors are hard to match if you get a scratch. Some colors fade more quickly in sunny areas. (colors with high red and yellow content are the worst offenders) Light colors reflect heat better and make the A/C work better, while dark colors let the heater work better. In the deep south and desert areas, white and light colors are the most common and in the "frozen" north, black and dark colors are more common. My choice for the desert where I live is a light tan. Light enough to reflect heat and the same color as the dust, so it doesn't show dirt as easily.

Here are a couple bad choices for colors:
I had a very small tan car at one time, and many near-accidents because people could not see it, not only because it was small, but also because it was so close to the color of the road.
I painted it bright yellow with black racing stripes. Bingo--no more near-misses.
Pale blue is also hard to see.

Silver or silver grey, because even if it's a bit dirty it still looks clean. Going to the car wash is less frequent than having a dark colored ones. Although I find black cars cool. Just my 2 cents.

white is the highest resale and usually easiest to sell red cars people complain about tickets black they complaine about the heat green, blue, tan, and silver are trendy and come in and out of popular favor but no body ever complains about white also white does not oxidize nearly as much as other colors and when it gets repaired white is always a perfect color match.

i imagine pink stands proud the most, next all black. i ought to continuously discover Sr and Jr contained in the %. again then. Yellow is distinctly straightforward too. Jeff Gordon's "Rainbow" vehicle became also distinctly straightforward. His dayglow yellow 24 nevertheless stands proud. Jr's paint schemes are ok, yet no longer as solid as that pink Budweiser vehicle. i like at the same time as he runs the Mountain Dew vehicle extra appropriate than the Amp or nationwide safeguard.

silver is hard to see in the fog. dont get tacky colors like hot pink, baby blue, yellow, orange. red only looks good on sports cars, not on suv's, minivans, and small cars. black, white, and silver are probably the best overall choices.
