Start with your cursor in the cell where you want the result. Type = or + then click with your cursor on the cell of one of the factors, either quantity or price. Then type *. Then click on the other factor and press enter. That will build your formula for you.

You can copy the formula to other cells to multiply the same cells relative to the result. which means if you have a column of prices in Col A and a col of Quantities in Col B, you can make your formula in a cell of col C and then copy it to the other cells of Col C for every row of factors.

lets say the qty is in C1
the price is in C2

the total is going to be =sum(C1*C2)
