I am a guy, 31 of age, exboyfriend of a person that left me, and all things for me explain that she is not over her ex who died couple of years ago. She was sometimes frustrated with me for no reason, like I don't do things I am suppose to do in a loving relationship (like: you are not doing what my ex used to do with me/us since she had kids from a previous marriage).

After time does it works, I think she will realize she let a person go for silly reasons (actually I finished the relationship since her attitudes were driving me insane, since I was not doing anything wrong), but I wonder, once things are in peace and she realize, any chances she will call me (because I was getting along great with her and her kids, also sleeping in her place when kids where in their bedroom, etc). I don't know, it's confusing and I wonder if a person will either look for a new person, or will go back to the pastures she had before, because we were a NICE couple.

My sweet little papillon was attacked by some huge mutt when I tried to take him for a walk last night. It took a big hunk off his side. I took him to the vet last night, they bandaged him up, gave him a shot for pain. I didn't have the money for everything they wanted to do for him (which the estimate was a little over $1600!).. He's in pain, but he's not bleeding profusely. This morning, he only yepls when he tries to move. I think he's going to be okay. I called the police to see if I could press charges against the people whose dog attacked mine, or something, you know. They reffered me to the animal control. Ok, so. My question is, what will happen if I call animal control? Will they press some kind of charges, or what. I don't want to call them on these people if all they are going to do is confiscate the dog and euthanize it. This other dog was on a leash, as was my dog. Yet, the other dog attacked mine unprovoked. This other dog must of weighed 100 pounds. Mine might weigh 2.

For example:
It was Harding and Coolidge's policies which got us into the Great Depression, and Hoover took the blame. The Great Depression prevented the US from getting involved in WWII right away, which led to us developing nuclear power, which led to the Cold War.
Truman got us into Korea, Eisenhower got us out, but meddled in the affairs in the Congo/Zaire; Kennedy and Johnson were the first to begin sending soldiers to Viet Nam. That crippled our military, and destroyed their morale, which led to the Carter adminstration-led attacks on terrorism to fail.
Reagan and Bush 41 attempted to use bin Ladin and Hussein to fight communism, which led to more terrorist attacks. Clinton did nothing to resolve the situation, and now we have Bush.
So how can everything be blamed on Bush? He's not perfect, by ANY stretch of the imagination...but is he to blame for the line of events that brought us to where we are?

i changed my diet, i only eat fish, chicken, tuna, veggies and fruit. only boiled, steamed, or baked, no more fried foods. i gave up all soda pop, only drink coffee, water, or tea, sometimes an occasional fitness drink. i used super colon cleansing pills as well. there is a noticeable difference, but i seem to have come to a stand-still. while i have had a dramatic change of appearance, i look a lot thinner, the numbers on the scale won't seem to decrease any further. what more can i do? i also do sit-ups every day and walk each day. no time to do too much more exercise than that.

I'm 25 years old and beofre he proposed, we were not in an exclusive relationship, we were friends and I was never really attracted to him physically. He's 35 y.o, stable job, has a good job and plenty of money in the bank, he respects me and loves me but I'm scared to marry him. He's a great guy but I'm reluctant to marry him since I was never really attracted to him. We're spending a lot of time together now that we're engaged but I'm still not 100% sure because of how he look.k Is this shallow of me? Should I go on with it since looks aren't as important as personality and how he treats me?

OK we learned from the Dead series that the dead tend to mimin their daily life rountines but must eat human flesh to survive. Now heres my question. What if a person was a vegetarian? Will they still eat only vegetables? Or if someone was Jewish would they only go after Jewish people because they're kosher?

I have an old Dell that has been upgraded several times. At the moment I cannot boot it up. It starts at the main boot screen but freezes on the wallpaper screen and does nothing else. I have tried to boot it in safe mode and everything else i can think of. I beleive the current OS is not working properly. I want to try to erase the harddrive completely and then reinstall windows XP and everything else. but I don't know what I need to do if I can't boot it up completely. I have also though about buying a new harddrive, but i don't want to spend the money if the PC is a lost cause. So does anyone have any ideas?

The horror behind the glamour
They race around the track, kicking dust clouds in the air. They run neck to neck, each one trying to overtake the other. The crowd goes wild. But suddenly, just as they reach the finish line, one stumbles and falls. A hush falls over the crowd. The race is now finished, along with the fallen horses life. This happens to be a daily battle.
Many people believe that the owners of racehorses treat their horses like ‘gold’ and never abuse them, and the reason why horses race are because they ‘are born to run’. I can tell you that those three statements are false, in almost all the cases, especially the later one. Racehorses are not born to run, they are born for money. Racehorses are not treated like gold and ARE abused. Their owners work them more then twice as hard as your everyday horse. Racehorses are abused with crops to force them to run faster. Researches have found, that At LEAST one horse from each race suffers physically. In almost all the cases that the horse suffers in, whereas the horse cannot be raced anymore, the good racehorses are sold for stud, but the others are euthanized.
Many have heard of the ‘all famous’ racehorse Sea biscuit. But one less known fact about him, is that he was raced 89 times, and only lived to be 15. Most horses can live to be 25.
Barbero’s last race ended with a broken leg. Commando, 1990 & 1991 horse of the year, died at age 8. Ruffin was raced after she broke and fractured her leg, broke her leg again in another race, and was euthanized at 3 years old. Black Gold, raced 35 times in 7 years. He suffered a quarter crack in his hoof as a four year old, but was still raced. He finished his last race on three legs, and then was put down at age seven. April 28, 2006. Miss Pretty Promise’s collapsed near the finish line and struggled to rise on her shattered forelegs. Dr. Stewart Marsh had taken one look at the grotesquely twisted legs and saw there was no hope of recovery. "Both front legs were broken," Marsh said minutes later, shaking his head as he walked off the track.
These are not the only ones.

A few months ago I said to my boy that I would like to have a piercing in my belly. U know, those tiny and cute ones: stars etc something small and cute.; And he said:no! only tramps pierce their belly button. I forgot all about it. I didn't really ment that although I would someday pierce my belly button. I never opened the discussion again or stress him or show him I'm upset.
Few days ago he says: why don't u wanna make a pircing in your belly button, it's sexy. He really meant it.
Why this sudden change of oppinion?
Can U tell me?
