i changed my diet, i only eat fish, chicken, tuna, veggies and fruit. only boiled, steamed, or baked, no more fried foods. i gave up all soda pop, only drink coffee, water, or tea, sometimes an occasional fitness drink. i used super colon cleansing pills as well. there is a noticeable difference, but i seem to have come to a stand-still. while i have had a dramatic change of appearance, i look a lot thinner, the numbers on the scale won't seem to decrease any further. what more can i do? i also do sit-ups every day and walk each day. no time to do too much more exercise than that.

If you've already lost 20 lbs just keep doing what your doing. You might ask yourself if you really need to lose 15 more.

Diet-wise, you're doing great, just keep in mind that Gatorade has an incredible amount of calories (about 90 per 250 milliliters, compared to about 29 for 100-Plus), The difference in calories is obviously sugar, so choose your weapons with care. You may also want to eat small meals frequently, as the science suggests that it is healthier. This is because when you are hungry your body burns muscle as well as fat to keep you going, and when you eat a lot your body tends to store fat. This is also why going without breakfast and then binging at lunchtime is bad for you.

Do bear in mind that jogging and running burn more calories than sit-ups, so you might want to up the ante on the aerobics if you want to beat that plateau.

You may want to try thermogenics to shed extra pounds, you can ask about them at your local health store, but some will agree that it is unnecessary, and I personally feel that they will only have their best effect if you have an extensive fitness regime, rather than just walking and sit-ups each day.

That being said, green tea is a natural fat-buster because it contains catechins, which have thermogenic properties. You should get the bags instead of the bottled tea, which sometimes contains much sugar.

You have reached what is called a plateau. Now you have to try something different than what you were doing. Your body got used to and expects what you have been doing for a long time. Try not to eat after 6 pm, if you must make it a salad with lemon juice. I have dinner for breakfast a regular lunch and cereal for dinner when I reach a plateau. See the earlier you eat your bigger meals the longer you have to burn them off. The heavier the meal in the evening the less time you have to burn those calories off.

Your body has gotten used to its new weight and the things you're feeding it. You just have to kick it up a bit. Work out longer and harder, and cut down on portions. Now that your body is smaller, you will need less calories.
