The Munsters of course. The Adams Family is a copy of the Munsters.

Well the Munsters started in 1964 and The Adamms Family was also 1964. Coincidently they BOTH aired for the first time in September of that year but the Adamms Family first aired on 18th September 1964 and The Munsters on 24th September 1964 so to answer your question, The Adamms Family came first! :)

And isn't it amazing that all those who are "guessing" The Munsters talk as if they know rather than using "I think", "I believe" or backing themselves up with some facts. I might have been beaten to it by a few people but maybe they type faster than I do? lol.

The Munsters: It first aired in black-and-white on the CBS network from September 24, 1964

The Adams Family: September 18, 1964
Addams's cartoons in The New Yorker magazine gained popularity in the 1930s anyway.

The Addams family but only by 6 days, although they did have a cartoon for long before that.
The Munsters first aired in black-and-white on the CBS network from September 24, 1964 to September 1, 1966 for 70 episodes, and continued in syndication thereafter. The Munsters was filmed in black-and-white, though the never-aired pilot episode was filmed at least partially in color. The fictional family lived at 1313 Mockingbird Lane, Mockingbird Heights.
In 1964, a network television series was spawned with actors playing characters from Addams' cartoons, entitled The Addams Family. The 30 minute series aired in black-and-white for two seasons in 64 installments on ABC (September 18, 1964 – September 2, 1966). Like Star Trek, it was not particularly successful during its original broadcasts but became hugely popular when repeated in wide TV syndication after its cancellation. It was originally produced by Filmways TV. Today, successor company Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (via Sony Pictures Television) owns the rights to the ABC shows.

The Munsters. They are different to Adams family though, as they had Marilyn as a "normal" family member
