i ahve window XP sp/2 my system restore is not working although enabled, secondly if i use yahoo (not outlook) mail for all my emails after deleting them will my hard drive have a copy and can they be recovered thanks

There's this little black bump on her face, under her eye, it looks like a pimple, but it's black. She's a brown striped tabbi, but there's no fur on the bump, it's weird. Today I saw her stratching like crazy and just now I noticed that it was bleeding, she must have cut it when she was scratching... Anybody know what it might be? And will it get infected? If I had a cut I'd put some neosporin on it, or hydrogen perroxide or something, but she's a cat, idk how her immune system and stuff works.

P.S. She's 14, but in pretty good shape.

I recently purchased a new car (Toyota Yaris). The sticker price is around $14k, but after the sales tax, finance charge, and some extras were factored in, that number jumped to over $22k. Ugh. The finance charge alone comes to almost $6k, and the loan terms are 11% interest over 6 years. My question is, if I pay off the car faster than the agreed terms, will the finance charge decrease? It seems like an obvious "yes," as interest is a function of time... and that is how every other loan seems to work. However, on my bill it appears that Toyota has charged all 6 years of interest up front, so I owe them the $22k no matter how fast I pay off the loan. That`s impossible, right?

I've heard allot of people, mostly conservatives and libertarians, who seem to think that 100% free markets will somehow manage themselves to the benefit of society. I don't see how this is possible. 100% free markets are made up of businesses and corporations not checked or controlled at all by any of the three branches of governments decisions and since corporations and businesses exist only to make profits, what would a corporation’s incentive be to act socially responsible? What would the motivation be for a corporation to be socially responsible? Wouldn't competition make being socially responsible impossible? I'm seriously trying to figure out what the reasoning is of the people who believe this.

The insurance firm put a sign in the window saying "HELP WANTED. You
must be a good typist and have good computer skills. Successful
applicant must be bilingual. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer."

A short time later a lovely golden retriever dog trotted up to the
window, saw the sign and went inside. He looked at the receptionist and
wagged his tail, then walked over to the sign, looked at it, whined and
pawed the air.
The receptionist called the office manager. He was surprised to say the
least to see a canine applicant. However, the dog looked determined so
he led him into the office. Inside, the dog jumped up on a chair and
stared at the manager expectantly.

The manager said, "I can't hire you. The sign says you must be able to
type."
The dog jumped down, went to the typewriter and proceeded to quickly
type a perfect business letter. He took out the page with his mouth and
trotted over to the manager, gave it to him, then jumped back up on the
chair wagging his tail.
The manager was stunned, but told the dog, "That was fantastic, but I'm
sorry. The sign clearly says that whomever I hire must have computer
skills."
The dog jumped down again, went to the computer and proceeded to
demonstrate his expertise with various programs. He produced a sample
Excel spreadsheet, a sample Power Point presentation, retouched a
picture with Photo shop, and then printed all of them for the manager.

The manager was dumbfounded. He said to the dog, "Listen, I realize
that you are a very intelligent applicant and have fantastic talent,
but you're a dog! There's no way I can hire you!"

The dog jumped down and went to the sign in the window and pointed his
paw at the words, "Equal Opportunity Employer."
The exasperated manager said, "Yes, I know what the sign says. But the
sign also says you have to be bilingual."


The dog looked him straight in the

about 15 years ago the politicians discovered Womens Issues and to get their votes we have this incredible collection of 'don't do this' laws. best example is MAD (great idea to get drunks off the road !) but not enough votes in taking the real problems off the road so they targeted social drinkers and now are issueing statements against ALL drinking ( proabition is coming back ? ) and THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH IT BECAUSE YOU CAN"T BE PRO DRUNKEN DRIVER !!!! politics and mommies are a bad mix !

to let his 17.5 year old friend, who is still in high school rent our apartment because I moved back with my mother. The thing is. The lease states that only he and I can inhabit the apartment. In Texas (our state) the lease law is 18. I am currently still paying my share of the rent. Is this legal, or possible? Can I fight/prevent his friend from coming and living in the apartment?
