i ahve window XP sp/2 my system restore is not working although enabled, secondly if i use yahoo (not outlook) mail for all my emails after deleting them will my hard drive have a copy and can they be recovered thanks

The problem with the system restore might be an internal prob with the install of your OS, have you tried reinstalling it if you still have the disc? And your hard drive won't have a copy of the emails because it is al stored on the net, not your comp so when you delete, they're gone forever.

No...once you delete emails it deletes them from the Yahoo! servers, they are never stored on your hard drive. If you look in the trash bin in your yahoo mail it saves deleted messages for usually up to two days.
