The most effective way to whiten your teeth and it does
not cost you an arm and a leg.
Buy your favorite mouthwash and a bottle of ordinary
peroxide at the drugstore. Mix half mouthwash and
half peroxide in an empty bottle.
When you brush your teeth, take a mouthful of the
mixture, swish it around in your mouth, brush as
normal and try to keep as much of the mouthwash
in your mouth while you are brushing. Rinse well.
You can do that as often as you want - no waiting
for the white strips to work, besides they don't cover
all your teeth. Dentist is expensive and so are the strips.
I have ask my Dentist about my method - it is safe -
and yes, I am a smoker and my teeth are white.

There are a couple pretty effective ways to whiten your teeth. You'll definitely get the best results by using a teeth whitening kit. They're designed to bleach teeth (which is totally safe, by the way) which will help to whiten not only the exterior of your teeth, but the actual teeth themselves.
You can read more about teeth whitening kits here: http://oradyne.net/best-teeth-whitening-kit/

Another great way to whiten teeth is by using a whitening toothpaste. Whitening toothpastes rely mainly on abrasives to do their whiteing, although some use hydrogen peroxide as a bleaching agent. They're more likely to give you issues with sensitivity, but that's a completely normal and reversible side effect. The nice part about using a toothpaste to whiten your teeth is that you're already brushing every day (or possible twice a day) so you don't need to change your routine at all. I review all of the best whitening toothpastes in this guide here: http://oradyne.net/best-whitening-toothpaste/

You can also try using a whitening mouthwash. While there are effective whitening mouthwashes, they're best used as a supplement to another whitening effort, such as toothpaste or a kit. Nobody ever really keeps mouthwash in their mouth long enough for teeth bleaching to really be effective, but if you're using it along with another product it can work well. I do a run through of the best whitening mouthwashes in this guide: http://oradyne.net/best-whitening-mouthwash/

Finally, you can always get a professional appointment at your dentist. These tend to be rather expensive, so I'd try other alternatives first if you can. It's pretty much guaranteed to work though, plus you've got the comfort of having a professional work on your teeth.

Hope this helped - happy whitening!

First you should talk to your dentist and find out why they are yellow. They probably need a good cleaning. That won't take out stains though. Many people have recommended Whitestrips, but I would NOT recommend them. I used them and it was very painful and remained painful for weeks afterward. They did work, but OUCH! Now I use Listerine Pre-Brush Rinse daily and I really like it. It works, but it is a little pricey. I also use a whitening toothpaste and happy with the results.

Zoom whitening, it is about $500 and your mouth will hurt for awhile, sensitive but it is worth it. To keep my teeth white now I use Crest Whitestrips and often use the Crest Whitening toothpastes, as well as the Colgate brand. It works great, also Britesmile is helpful, you can get it from Sephora. Good luck, and many smiling days ahead.

Crest White Strips work well, and are readily available at any drug store, or even Walmart.
When you first use Crest White Strips, use 2 packages. Use one whole package to its completion, then follow with another whole package, and use the second one to its completion, too.
You might want to use them twice yearly for next couple of years, after your initial 2 package use.
It truly works. I tried them, and I use them yearly, now. I've been using Crest White Strips for years, now.
To maintain your newly white teeth, try holding a 50-50 mix of hydrogen peroxide and water in your mouth daily for a minute or two. I do.

Go to the dentist to whiten them. They will do an excellent job and results are quick. And you should stop drinking Coffee and tea (if you are) and eating chocolate. Or if you can't give those up, then you should brush your teeth after consuming them.

If you are willing try out a simple home remedy, I shall suggest this.
Rub your teeth with plain table salt (NaCl) after brushing. This can be done only with your index finger. If you can mix some fine charcoal powder with salt , then it is even better. You will see results in one week itself. After this you can do this occasionally.
