okay, I’m 25 and still live with my parents. no mean comments alright? I’m half Japanese and this is about our family culture. also, I’m the only child in the family. I’ve been happily living with them and never wanted to change a thing. I have a boyfriend right now and I love him dearly. my parents like him very much too. my dad said I was grown up and should have more privacy on my own.
I appreciate it but I kinda confuse if I should move out. it's not that I’m not independent but I don't wanna leave my mom. she's married to my dad here without any close friends or relatives. I planned to move out until I got married. But my mom insisted that she was happy to for my dad’s decision. Should I move out? My boyfriend has no comments at all. He said as long as I was happy.

I work at a restaurant and I noticed women/girls give you the evil glare if you smile and are friendly when they come in with a guy or boyfriend. I don't understand this, I make it a point to address everyone at the table equally and be nothing but friendly and professional, and still I get the girls giving me attitude when everyone else at the table is nothing but friendly, and glares which look like they are thinking "I hate you!" Even out in public some women do that...Seriously...what is up with that!?

I am a postdoc at a good univ here in the US. At the same time I have a job offer from India, my home country.

If I refuse this job now, I will have to perform consistently well for three more years to go back for a better position
so that I can work independently.

If I join, I am likely to end my career right now.

Jobs in my field are scarce so If I do not perform consistenly all this while, It might be a suicice too.
I get distracted & lazy a lot of times so I am not sure
of myself either !!

I have a sister who has been married 6 times. She has called the cops on every hubby and guy she has lived with claiming abuse. Before the cops get there she puts on make up so it looks like her hubby or bf has beat her. The cops are so stupid that she has gotton away with this for over 20 years. I think that the cops should keep track of all the pieces of garbage like this who pull crap like this. There should be a 3 strikes your out for this s h i t. They should teach cops diff between makeup and the real deal. Maybe take some cold cream with ya guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have very light skin and I just got a job that requires me to be in the sun a lot. I don't want to get a tan because I my color of skin ( not that there is anything wrong with darker colored skin) that is not the problem but I just don't want to get darker. If i use a sun screen or sun block will that help me to not get darker?

I like the concept of Christianity, of being a good person, doing good things and helping other people. Most people that I've met in my life who were really into going to church every Sunday I have found to be very cruel and hypocritical in their actions regardless is they potray by going to chruch. I feel that someone who wants to force you into believing their beliefs, and also by invoking fear is not a Christian belief. My sister is Catholic and married to a drunk abusive husband & won't leave him. My best friend is Catholic and has two children with her partner and are not married. I find the irony hard to handle. I believe that God exists because there cannot be any other reason for the creation of the universe and us on Earth. I despise racism, crime, violence and war. I try and do many things to help people by volunteer work and most recently w/my elderly neighbor who had his electricity shut off. I don't follow any religious rules and feel I am a good person.Who am I?
