What do you look for when someone asks to work in your church. We have been going to a church for nearly two years and we are gifted with teaching and preaching. My husband is ordained and a chaplin, and I have been a womens and teen minister in the past. Our church has a strong core group and there doesn't seem to be a place for us to work, and it makes us very sad to not use the gifts God gave us.
What do you look for when someone really has a heart for ministry, and just wants to serve.

I have become increasingly aware of the importance of trace minerals (micronutrients) in plant nutrition which is passed on to humans and animals. I'm wondering if most fertilizers that you buy at a nursery or a co-op come loaded with necessary trace elements or if I need to buy a supplement in addition to the regular fertilizer.

I want to know why do some atheists spend so much time 'downing' Christianity in efforts to debunk the existence of God and the teaching of Jesus, when all religions, Islam, Buddhism, Judaism, even Native American and African Tribal Beliefs, believe in some form of God and Savior?

I have never, in the 6 years I've claimed Jesus as my Savior, witnessed or been part of a conversation with an atheist who tried to debunk the existence of other religions Gods. Why?

Before I became a Christian, I was an atheist with strict views on all Gods, and not once, at that time, was I criticized or 'downed' for my beliefs. But now that I'm a Christian, I find myself being criticized or 'downed' and having to defend my right to be a Christian to atheists constantly. Why?

** For all who want to know, I stop being an atheist when I was told by a man I loved, "If you don't believe that God exists, where does your morality come from. God is LOVE and you can't know LOVE for me without LOVE for Him."

Our 5th date just a few inches away from having sex, condom in hand, Of course I was fine with that and said…”ok, fine”…although, I could have persisted but chose not to, WHAT DID SHE EXPECT? I have someone who says they are out of country (ooc) working and getting paid in USPS. Money Orders. She claims they cannot be cashed outside the territory of the U.S. I want to help her but it sounds like a scam to me. Has anyone ever heard of this scam and can the money orders be cashed outside our country? How can I check on the money orders to make sure they are on the up and up and if not how can I snare this would be scam artist?

She wants my address and full name to mail me the money orders and then send the monies to her via Western Union. This has to be a scam. What is it called and how best to catch the scammer without getting burned or involved unwantingly without just stopping communication? OH Yeah, she says she is in Nigeria, " Land of Scam," from what I hear.

She says she needs the money to settle hotel bills and buy return airfare. She is not asking me for money, she wants me to cash these money orders for her and wire her the dough because she says she can't.

How would you deal with someone who routinely ignores you, tunes you out, disregards what's important to you (because it's unimportant to him)?

I'm well-aware that all of us have much too much on on plates (and minds), and I don't expect people to hang onto my every word or deed, but it is so hurtful to me when things I say are clearly tuned out. I stop speaking mid-sentence to see if he's really listening; he has never, ever noticed.

Yes, I've tried many, many times to sensitize him by telling him how hurtful it is to me. He apologizes -- genuinely seems contrite -- but unfailingly repeats the insulting, demeaning behavior.

I'm sick of the I'm-sorries, sick from being ignored, and just don't know what to do.

The neighborhood mailman noticed that although it was Monday Mr. & Mrs. Smiths cars were still in the driveway. When he got to their box he saw Mr. Smith coming out with bags of empty beer cans and liquor bottles. He said "wow" Stan you must of had one hell of a party last night!, Stan replied, no actually it was Sat. night and were still recovering. We decided to have a block party and just when it was ready to get over someone suggested we play the game "Who am I"......."Who am I"? replied the mailman, never heard of it. Well, Stan said, all the men go in a room and come out with a sheet on them and just their "member" sticking out then the women had to guess which one belonged to her husband. The mailman said, damn im sorry i missed that party. Stan replied, you shouldnt be, they guessed your name about 5 times!

won't it be assier becasue it is in other langunages and more poeple will read to understand the religion. i am not muliusm but they always say that people always misunderstand their religion ideas and cultures but why not when the holy book is not widely avaible for study by non mulisms ands muliusm.
