I had an acquaintance who swam over Great Falls near Washington, DC and killed himself. As far as I know he didn't discuss anything with anybody, but he was a black guy with a white girlfriend and I strongly suspect that had something to do with it.

I had a couple of ex's threaten to kill themselves if I didn't come back.In fact one tried. I didn't want to think I was the cause of someones death, so I went back. Then later I left again and told them to grow up. All it is, is manipulation.

My cousin did that and I think it was stupid. I would never take my own life over someone else. It caused his family a lot of pain and nothing good came out of it.

That may have been the presenting reason...but I'm pretty sure there were underlying reasons I won't ever know about.
