I have always had a desire to do something nice at a nursing home... I would love to make something nice with my children ..to take to nursing homes in our area.Does anyone have any good and cheap ideas?

My girlfriend and I are currently 17 and she is pregnant. Ill be 18 in a couple weeks, about 3 months before the baby is born but she will not be 18 till late April of 2007. I was wandering if anyone knew what rights I have over the baby. Her parents often will say something about her being a minor and how they have the power to make all the decisions. I thought possibly since I am not going to be a minor when the baby is born that I may have some rights over the baby and some decision making power. Often I dont agree with things they say about what is going to happen and sometimes they make threats that I cant do anything. I reside in New Hampshire and Im not quite sure how the laws work here. i ended our relationship last night, after getting back just a week ago... i can't understand him anymore, i have tried everything to put back the relationship the way it was, but it seems that all my efforts are useles... it was like i dont know where i stand in his life now, that's why i decided to be consistent... it is his bday on tomorrow, should i still greet him or send him even just a card? i know it is hard for both of us and i can see that he is sufferring too... but there is no way that we can meet half way... past issues still concern him, and no matter how i try to explain my side he still wont listen... did i do the right thing?
