i ended our relationship last night, after getting back just a week ago... i can't understand him anymore, i have tried everything to put back the relationship the way it was, but it seems that all my efforts are useles... it was like i dont know where i stand in his life now, that's why i decided to be consistent... it is his bday on tomorrow, should i still greet him or send him even just a card? i know it is hard for both of us and i can see that he is sufferring too... but there is no way that we can meet half way... past issues still concern him, and no matter how i try to explain my side he still wont listen... did i do the right thing?

that's really though. i guess it depends if you guys were going to try and still be friends, even if it's not right now but later. Since you both just broke up, even a card might be too emotional. But a simple email with or a txt message just saying happy birthday, i think would be nice. and it would show that even if you two didn't make it in a relationship, that you still care and one day y'all might get past it a be friends

You can never have a relationship as it was in the past. You both have probably been thru so much and there were reasons why you broke up in the first place. I would not send him anything...you're broken up! If you say you are both hurting, leave him alone and move on for his sake. You will find someone else, let him be at peace and move on too.

Only you know if you did the right thing and you might not know it for a while. If you tried twice and it didn't work out then you probably did the right thing. re birthday - Leave it alone. You ended things, remember? Let them end. Don't let him think there's hope if there's not. Time to forget. A card or gift would just prolong it.

u can send him a card and tell him u can still be friends if he wishes too. if u could, u discuss a bit with him concerning the way ur relationship ended n Y? see the goods n baddies....

i dont knw y u broke up so cant comment on whether it is rite or wrong but i thnk once u hav broken up then their is no point in being contact bcoz that creates lot of chaos in life bcoz those who hav been engaged at one point can never b frenz .the relationship cums in b/w.so either stay away or make up 4ver
