i want to buy a used sidekick 3 and i want to know if i buy it will i be able to have prepaid service on it

the truth t-mobile wont sell it for you with out a 2yr contract because they want you to get a data plan but you can buy in on ebay.com and amazon.com and i think you can get on a prepaid service but some features wont be abeliable

Last I heard, YES. I believe the rates for prepaid on the Sidekick are as follows: $1 per day for unlimited web access and 15 cents per minute for nationwide calls. Click the link below for more info on their prepaid rates on the Sidekick[s].
Once you get the phone and provided you're already an existing customer, all you have to do is call up customer support, give them the IMEI number on the Sidekick to have them activate it and ready it for service. T Mobile has excellent customer support and they should have you up and running in 30 minutes or less. If you're not already an existing customer - look up the closest T Mobile store in your area and then take the phone there and they'll be happy to set you up.. . . . .provided the phone you purchased hasn't been tagged as being stolen.
