When atheists or others read the Bible do they actually read it for any other reason than to mock and scoff, do they read it in it's entirety, or stop at a few verses in the old testament (The Bible will always be misinterpreted when read out of context) Why do they blame Christianity for the acts of perverted priests, the Crusades, or the Salem witch Trials. According to the Bible none of these were true Christians. Jesus said a sign of his true disciples(Christians) is that they love .

Why does Christianity in general get a bad name, because of false Christians

What if something like the movie Bruce Almighty, but for a much longer time? Maybe there was a different God back 2000 years ago, but he decided that he was tired of it and found a suitor, maybe a high ranking angel or something?

Did something to change your appearance drastically and then walk through a store and expect other people to notice the difference when they don't even know you?

I just got glasses. I agree that I need them now. I walk through the grocery store and I realize that I am actually expecting these strangers to notice the difference in me. Once I realized it, I stopped but how incredibly strange!!

Ok here is the deal, I just got this temp job during the summer which was supposed to run for about 7-8 weeks. Ok the summer is done, but I was offered a permanent positon about 4 weeks into it. I said sure b/c it seemed like the only option for money at the time. But recently my manager is becoming really nasty, and "supposedly I have been losing money" and coming up short. I have no way to explain why? Simply because I really have no idea how the money disappears, I count and double count money that I give to customers, yet I have been short everyday this week. Not only that, my shortcomings have been announced to the ENTIRE office. So I feel uncomfortable and I just dont feel like staying there, plus the pay sucks! Anything that I should say? OR how should I go about it b/c my temp term is almost done?

To me, it is a mystery who invented and perfected theses basic shapes. One seemingly convincing answer I received is for circle is conceived from moon and triangle from mountain.. i do not agree for the later. If we observe the nature closely, the angles does not exists, the shapes are dominated by closer loops of curves. This is true. We have never seen "a suqare shaped animal or plant". Angular structures could be seen in microstructure of mineral lettices etc... but this is a recent contribution of microscopy.
