Just trying to gather other people's ideas, not trying to make fun.

What if something like the movie Bruce Almighty, but for a much longer time? Maybe there was a different God back 2000 years ago, but he decided that he was tired of it and found a suitor, maybe a high ranking angel or something?

Thoughts?

Interesting. Anne Rice had a scene in one of her vampire book where God and the Devil are seen at a cafe. It seems that the Angels take turn being the devil because no one likes being the bad guy. Another turn is of course Terry Pratchet's "Good Omens" (co-written with Niel Gaiman) That might give you some good ideas about good and evil

My peopel perish because they lack knowledge. I have believed that all questions about God should be searched for in the Bible. If guided by the Holy Spirit, you will definitely get answers. The Bible says that from the beginning was God and that means that the God we have has never tired and will never. He has existed from as many years back as your imagination can stretch. Appreciated that you are not making fun. Bruce Almighty would straight away be blaspheme. All the people I know in history who thought themselves as Almighty perished in very bad circumstances. Nebucahdnezar to Idi Amin of Uganda through Napoleon, Hitler etc. They all perished. Lets not compare ourselves to God and that's why we have no names like Jehovah Jones etc.

Life would be more fun if there were a human that controlled everything. However, if a human got God's powers, he/she would probably just use them to make himself/herself happy.
