...or an officially protected species, and you can import it in to your home country without too much difficulty, does that mean it is perfectly legal for you to keep it as a pet?

In the UK we have an act which came in to power in 1976 regarding endangered animals as pets but I don't think this covers other unusual animals (big cats, other predators etc etc). My question is, could you reasonably and legally keep such animals as pets providing they were adequately and safely housed (presumably an inspection would be required...)

By the way I do not wish to keep such an animal but I'm just asking out of interest! Thanks

if you are unmarried but have cohabitated for the entire year as a stay at home mom, and have one child who belongs to the person employed and onechild of your own. (the person emplyed also supported your son) . is it possible for the employed person to claim all four people? how do you find out if you are a "qualifying other" ? where is this information located on the IRS web site?
