im 14 years old and when i insert a tampon, it hurts when i sit down or bend over, am i doing it right? i insert it towards my lower back and push it quite far in, but im still not sure if i doing it right, what could be the problem?

you shouldnt be able to feel it so try pushing it in a little more and dont use one designed for heavy flow if you're light coz it doesnt mean you can keep it in for longer or anything it will just hurt you more in the end so find one that suits your flow.

I don't use tampons alot, but when I do I lean over and insert.

Try pushing it in a little further. you shouldn't be able to feel it inside you.

sounds like you are doing it wrong - it shouldnt hurt maybe you are using one for heavier periods try a lighter one
