As with any relationship, please be careful..Nigerian do have that reputation but not all of them are cunning...there are some very sweet and honest men. Luck plays a role in you find that in any man and research plays the other role ....the issue about yr guy is that he has been tagged by your friends already...it might be true that he is bad apple, he has to prove otherwise. look at it this way, you always have to prove yourself to white just by being black right..sometime you make great friends after....so Nigerian has to prove himself too...give him the benefit of the doubt if you really really like him and pray for Good luck.....your friend or yourself might be right!!

I see where you are coming from and why you have your doubts and why your friend feels the way she does. I can give you 20,000,0001 reasons you should never date or for matter of fact have anything to do with a Nigerian. Ask me how, I am a Nigerian Woman. Ok...thats out of the way, now I can give you 200,000,000 reasons to at least think about it.
1. Like someone said...not all the apples in the basket are rotten.
2. I am happily married to a hardworking, honest Nigerian man who treats me like I'm the only woman on this earth. (That is to back up #1.)
I could go on but I'll tell you this: Yes, Nigerians are known for all the negative traits and behaviours that a few of them chose to ignorantly exhibit but we also have a culture that is beautiful and we have men who are truthful, hardworking and will woo you till you beg them to stop and trust me they won't.
In short, you are a grown woman...you know what you want. If you are going into a relationship...go in with both your eyes wide open. Make wise decisions and don't let anyone tell you that a certain kind of people are just plain bad.

ITS very true but not all of them
trying to outsmart people is part of their life
both men women and children
so just stay on top of the relationship
and besure he is not like what u hear or u back out
i am from africa but not nigeria and we all know them
so its a good advice if he seems geniune give him a chance
but dont get too flattered with his words cus they are good at it

Being aware , that not all races are equal...
