I am making a science project and the device needs to run for a very very long time without wearing out. How can you tell which electric motors last longer? Are there industrial motors that will last longer than hobby type electric motors? Are "stepper" motors long lasting? Also, how do you determine what size motor is needed for a specific task?
For this device it will only move a fraction of an inch ... but it will need to lift something that is fairly heavy.. a couple ounces maybe.. straight up on a track-like construct... over and over for a long long period of time.. years -- or as long as possible.

i'm a guy in my late 20's . i met a lady at a party. we had alot of things and common , live near by and seemed to like get along nicely so we ended up exchanging email addresses at the end of the night. the other day i email her and say something like, 'hey, i want to want to catch a movie tomorrow, want to come?' and she says 'sure' . we both approached this very casually and not so much as a date (not that i wouldnt want to ask this girl out) . at this point, i don't know if this is a "date" and i should it approach it such (pay for the dinner and the movie etc) . obviously, i dont know wheather or not if SHE thinks of this as a date either. IS THIS A DATE and SHOULD I APPROACH IT AS SUCH? i'd like your oppinion..thanks.

My husband and I want him to adopt my son. His real father is fine with it so there is no conflict. I have called 10 different lawyers, gotten ahold of 5 of them, and the least expensive one for a straight adoption was $800. Well, if I lose weight that would be good, but I need to lose a few inches off my torso and legs. My case is not about looks, but because I need my body to be slim in order to fit in a regular work uniform (most asians are very slim, somewhat skinny, and I'm not).
I need to do this in two weeks, and I don't take any pills (like phentermine and stuff like that). Any natural way to do this, any kind of diet I should follow, some sport I should start practising in particular to help me with this?
