After watching responses on this site I have noticed that a lot of people in America justify stupid uncalled for answers with the term frredom of speach.
There is freedom of speach in the UK and Aus but we don't quote it as an excuse for being rude .

It's also speech not speach.

Personally, I see a distinction between the two but a lot of people on here use the "freedom of Speech" to be rude. But those people we just call morons. Not all Americans are like that. :)

Wel, freedom of speech is a concept found in our constitution, not in our "Decloration of Independance" (Declaration of Independence).

With freedom of speech, you have to take the good with the bad. If someone says something ridiculous, I can tell him he is an idiot. It's a two-way street. (Someone should tell the Dixie Chicks that...).

Love, Jack.

Freedom of Speech for liberals means freedom to be as stupid or disrespectful as you can be. They don't have a clue as to what it means, not even the vaguest idea.

I wouldn't take that so seriously. I'm delighted anyone in America cares about anything but celebrities and scandals. Even if I find some of it occasionally rude and over zealous, I welcome political dialogue, even argument.

It's all a process --with some rough edges, but important.
