A man with a bald head and a wooden leg is invited to a fancy dress party. He doesn't know what to wear to hide his head and his wooden leg so he writes to a fancy dress company to explain his problem. A few days later he receives a parcel with a note:
Dear Sir,
Please find enclosed a pirate's outfit. The spotted handkerchief will cover your bald head and with your wooden leg you will be just right as a Pirate. The man thinks this is terrible because they emphasized his disability, so he writes a letter of complaint. A week passes and he received another parcel.
Dear Sir,
Sorry about the previous parcel. Please find a monk's habit. The long robe will cover your wooden leg and with your bald head you will really look the part.
The man is extremely furious now, because the company has gone from emphasizing his wooden leg to drawing attention to his bald head. So he writes a really rude letter of complaint. A few days later he gets a very
small parcel from the company with an accompanying letter:
Dear Sir,
Please find enclosed a tin of Golden Syrup. Pour the tin of Golden Syrup over your bald head, stick your wooden leg up your **** and go as a toffee apple.

i just wanted to know why they are intimidating b/c i feel i intimidate ppl b/c i'm 5'10 and athletic looking and it can make you feel self-conscious about yourself as you kind of feel like a huge walking freak, do you find height and build intimidating? Today people could care less of values & morals so why not jump in the bed with someone else than with your ordained lifetime soulmate. For 5 years I'm faithful, loyal, committed to my husband from not having jump in the bed with some guy which he is not to me. I won't ever commit adultery like my husband is doing with my X- best friend. It is so wrong to do. It is better to have a clear conscience than to have a boyfriend. Like they said , there is no pillow so soft as a CLEAR conscience !!! I know this in my heart if I make a mistake then I answer to God and ONLY God for them. I know down deep in my heart to be true that marriage is what it is UNTIL DEATH.

ok, i know this guy...and no i dont like him =p....but he likes me. I have tried, in many nice ways as possible to give him the hint that i dont like him, but all he seems to do is not see it!....I dont pick up his phone calls when he calls me every night *sighs*, i avoid him everytime he tries and asks me to go out AND there is a 7 year gap between me and him.(The reason why i find this awkard is that because Im still in Highschool) Why does he have to make it like he doesnt understand!...it pisses me off even more!!...what can i do (in a nice way) to tell him im not interested?!?

Hi all.Does anyone think that they should bring back national service as a way to combat the gang culture and bolster our already over stretched armed forces.
It should have a 2 year set period for all.
A new national service scheme should be for the 16 to 25 age group and incorperate only those that are unemployed or in prison custody for minor offences.
Colour and creed should not be an issue, if you fit the criteria you are in simple as that..
Immigrants in and coming to this country should also be included in this on the grounds of weeding out those that dont want to stand by this country in times of need.
Those that are not prepared to except this,are obviously showing that they will not be prepared to stand up and protect the country they want to live in and should be removed back to there country of origin.
I think this would be an excellent way of combating the yob and gang culture,cure overcrowding in the prisons,aid the unemployed situation and sort out the scroungers
