i have a quaker parrot named Lolita that is turning 1 years old on September 8th.

She isnt talking yet..

will she soon?

she dose make some noises occasioonally but she dosent talk as much as i practice with her...


nothing comes out of her little beak!

ever since iv had my baby my mum has try-ed to take over i don't live at home i live with my partner and we are first time parents so in a way its good that's she is trying to help but its now getting out of hand she has got another 3 grandkids to but she was never like that with my brother or sister when they had there kids its feels like she's the mother to my child she tells me what i can and cant do for example my baby is a realy hungry baby and they say to only put babies on food from 6 months but i started him on it at 4 months my mum went crazy at me saying i was stupid my partners mum thought it was a great idea as he is a hungry baby and needs more than just milk when my mum found out what my partners mum said she turned round to her and said it was her idea to put him on food when in fact it was mine. In a way it has got nothing to do with her apart from its her grandchild i don't want to sound mean but its my child what could be wrong with her help plz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but i was elso told that god knows wut you are doing, going to do, and wut you are thinking. and that hes the one who decides every ones fate but hes the one that decides if we sin or not and that we have to be punished for wut we cant control thats just stupid and unbeilievable.

What is it that makes every persons voice sound different .. even if similar there is usually something that doesn't sound quite the same. You can often recognise a persons voice even if you have only spoken to them a couple of times on the phone before. Also what is it that changes about the voice in time .. as you can usually guess a persons age from hearing their voice .. but sometimes peoples voices sound fairly young (20's-30ish) but they are actually more like 40's-50. Still other people are middle aged but when they answer the phone they sound like little kids and people ask to speak to their parents!

In short; - what causes the different sound of voices
- how/why does your voice change with age

My fiance is 37 & lives with his parents. He travels alot at his job so he has to live with them. I am 34 years old. We are both catholics.I go to his house alot. I've hugged him b 4 or even snuggled up with him. Last year I did not want to hold hands or kiss him because my culture did not allow that before marriage. I am East Indian & my fiance is white. But I am deeply in love with him & I want to show some kind of affection towards him. So we do kiss, hug & have even fooled around b 4. But did not have sex. I went to confession with him & decided not to fool around anymore. But I do like to hug, hold hands & kiss him. His parents do not like the idea of us kissing & hugging.They said we should live a chaste life before marriage. I went on a trip with him out of state to visit his brothers.They didn't like it eather. Their other children all lived together b 4 marriage & they even helped one of them move in together b 4 marriage. I fear I will loose him 4 ever. Now I am very sad.

In the sixth grade, my teacher read us a novel about a teenage girl whose father works for the government and they, along with her brother, are saved when the most of the rest of civilization is wiped out by some sort of carbon-destroying weapon. The first half of the novel deals with the disaster and its aftermath, the second takes place a couple of generations later during the rebuilding of society. I can't remember the title or author for the life of me, and I'm hoping it hasn't gone out of print (I'm a sophomore in college now). Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
