sometimes, but the good thing of hating yourself is the first step to be better, since by that we know there is something wrong that should be change, so go next step and fix the wrong thing. You will be happy with your self then.
but really the question! how to implement these ideas.... we know what we have to be or to do, but for some reason we stuck in our place..

I have this problem where I hate my past self. Like I'll always think "Wow, I really like how I am now. I've basically got what I want and need and I'm happy." and a few years later I'll look back upon myself and think "I was stupid then." and a lot of the time I refuse to talk about my past self.

Yes. This year I did something that I knew was wrong but for certain reasons I proceeded to do it. I hated myself so much that I tried to commit suicide twice. I am coming out of it now with the help of a great sister and friend.

I did in the past. Now I do not hate myself. I may hate some of the decisions I have made but I have learned to love myself.

Hell ya. I think everyone does at some time or another. It's from making bad decisions, or hurting someone's feelings. You shouldn't keep it up though. Self hate is harmful to the soul. ~

not ever hated myself, but I have had some regrets that have bothered me. I have since changed my outlook and do things that I really care about in the moment. I also get much pleasure these days from caring for and pleasing others, thus not ego-centric.

It is possible that one hates himself/herself for having taken a wrong decision or having committed a blunder. Its quite obvious also coz you know yourself that whatever decisions you have taken in the past need not be correct. In such cases there are chances that one would have hated himself. But, then it is only momentary as you are not going to punish yourself hard for that.

Yes, when I first found out I was gay, I tried to kill myself. I would not tell anybody or my family and it just ate me up inside. When I told my family, all they asked was that whats being bothering you. They accepted me as I am. My brothers and sister told me, if I ever have something on my mind, just let them know. I have nothing to ashame about. Today, we are closer more than ever.

Yes.
I feel like I was born to be miserable. I do so much and I make great strides but then the setbacks just seem so much bigger. No matter what I do I cannot seem to get ahead and stay there.
