I mentioned that I was reading a book about Buddism and one lady almost bit my head off!!!! I was raised a Christian but I think lots of other religions have something to teach us. What's the big deal -- does that make me a bad Christian?

I wonder what Americans like to eat the most. I have a meeting tomorrow night and i am on duty for providing food for them. A week ago i made dessert of my country and they seemed dont like it. I have beef, shrimps, macaroni, garlics, onions, eggs, cheese, squash,green onion, chicken. It is for 10 people. I need simple recipes but yet good to eat. I dont have GRILL so dont give me grill recipes. Please help me?

It is said that anyone who can answer yes to any one of these questions is a militant breastfeeder whose sole purpose is to criticize those who don't.
Many times I have expressed my pride in being able to breastfeed after 8 years of infertility and giving up hope of ever having this priviledge. Is it wrong to feel good about a choice that I never thought I'd be able to make? My expression of pride has been somehow twisted by formula feeders who say this condemns their choice (or necessity as the case may be).
Breastfeeders are subjected many rude and insulting comments, too:You SHOULD have weaned him by now
You're still breastfeeding him at 2, that's abusive and he'll suffer emotional consequences
Co-sleeping causes lifelong dependence on the parents
Breastfeeding SHOULD be done in the bathroom.
And my favorite - being compared to a cow

Formula feeders - we don't have it any better. People try to make us feel guilty, too

I know there have been Q&A on this but I really want to see the speed of Internet connections from different places and how much are you paying for it?

I don't want just "very fast" or "slow" answers. Please earn your 2 points! I want details - your plan (unlimited access, hours usage etc.), the price and type (dial-up, cable, dsl etc.).

Mine is a DSL (ADSL2) line at 10Mbps, unlimited hours for USD43 a month.

There is NOTHING in the New Testament that says that you must also:
*Hate gays
*Fight for elimination of people's RIGHT to choose who they are and what they think
*Kill abortion doctors and bomb clinics, or support people who do
*Demand the death penalty for just about anything that irritates you (Jesus was real pointed and direct on this issue, if you recall) if you're going to be pro-life, don't be hypocritical about it!!
*Cheer for foreign wars just because it makes great after-church TV
*condemn everyone who is intellectual enough to UNDERSTAND and clearly follow real objective science. (the Earth is NOT 6500 years old!)

YOU have twisted the message of Jesus into something ugly and sinister.

How bad were the cemeteries hit in New Orleans by Katrina? Are there still tours of the area? I want to travel around the Halloween season, any interesting places related to ghosts,etc.? I have a 67 Ford with a 390 the old girl has sit for 10 years without being started. I changed the oil and fuel after a while she started. But, smokes bad, I mean blue LA smog stuff. When it was parked She didn't smoke at all. I think it's a collaped ring but, I'd like to try some engine cleaners and or solvents before I give up and rebuild the motor. Anyone have any suggestions?
